Covered in a gorgeous, deep-brown Corojo wrapper, the Alec Bradley Sanctum Robusto almost looks too good to smoke! However, after admiring this beauty and savoring the highly aromatic prelight nose, it was time to fire one up. The draw was perfect, releasing initial notes of white pepper and earth that were soon accompanied by flavors of chocolate, earth, and sweet spice that remained constant until the final draw. The strength profile was medium and creamy, and the construction and burn were top-notch. This ideal midday smoke has more than enough character and complexity to hold its own after a large meal.
