Fresh Cut: Villiger Flor de Ynclan

In the U.S., Villiger is not a relatively well-known brand. Sure, you've seen their smaller cigars on your local shops shelves, maybe even the Libertad, but generally they are a European manufacturer. However, that is all about to change. The Villiger North American division has released a brand new premium cigar with a name as old as time, but a blend as new as they come. This cigar is sure to put Villiger on the map in the U.S. as a serious premium cigar contender.

Flor de Ynclan is an old Cuban brand that dates back to the 19th century. The team at Villiger has brought it back with a vengeance. This delicious medium to full bodied smoke uses aged Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, along with a rich Indonesian binder and a zesty Ecuadorian wrapper. Hints of pepper are present throughout, along with a solid core of leather and sweet spice. The burn was fantastic all the way through and the smoke output was on point.

This cigar scored a 90 on its Half Wheel review, which is immensely impressive for a debut showing (of sorts). If this is just a glimpse of what Villiger is capable of, then we here at Cigars.com are immensely excited for what the future holds. Go to our website right now and enjoy the brand new Flor de Ynclan from Villiger Cigars.
