Viaje Cache

When you think of small batch, boutique cigars, no doubt that Viaje is one of the first to come to mind. Andre Farkas has created a truly remarkable company, one that focuses on quality and epic themes more so then just making money. While his cigars cant be found in every single cigar shop, any tobacconist worth his salt will carry at least some of the Viaje line. In 2014, Andre began working with another factory to create one of his finest blends yet.

The Viaje Cache was the brain child of Farkas and the world renowned blenders at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. This is the factory responsible for Casa Fernandez and several of the Warped lines. While working with Andre, they decided to use an epic, oily San Andres Maduro wrapper. This rich leaf, combined with the aroma of the aged Nicaraguan filler and binders creates a plethora of bold, enticing flavor. Notes of dark chocolate and cocoa hit almost immediately but soften up to allow subtle hints of earth and leather as you continue to smoke.

The issue that a lot of people have with Viaje, Cigars.com included, is that they are so good. Sounds like a weird problem right? Well when you have a cigar this good but from a company who focuses on small batches, they become much harder to come by. So when we say that you better get them while you can, that's not just a line. Viajes go very quickly, and the Viaje Cache is certainly poised to be amongst their most popular.
