What makes these smokes special, aside from the top-shelf blend consisting of an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Mexican San Andres binder, and long fillers from Nicaragua, Brazil, and the Dominican Republic, is that the tobaccos have been aged in tercios. Rather than getting baled in burlap to age, the tobaccos are instead encased in Royal Palm tree bark to gain a tighter seal around the tobaccos and keep in the natural aromatics and oils of the leaf.
