These handmade cigars are produced using tobacco grown on the Aganorsa farm in Esteli. As a true Nicaraguan puro, you can expect earthy richness, spice, and coffee flavors.
JM's Espanola 1996
Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
Wrapper: Connecticut

The story of JM's Tobacco began in 1994 when Anto Mahroukian bought his father, John Mahroukian, an $18 cigar. Inspired by the quality of the smoke, JM decided to create his own line of affordable, high-quality cigars, culminating in the production of JM's Espanola in 1996.
It's a big year for the cigar brand, as Espanola approaches its 30th anniversary, remaining as popular as ever. The previously limited edition Espanola Year of the Dragon now has a permanent place in the brand's core line-up, with a new name for 2025: JM's Espanola Corojo.

Davidoff Year of the Snake
Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
Wrapper: Ecuador
Binder: Ecuador
Filler: Dominican Republic / Mexico
Length: 7
Ring: 43
Strength: Medium
Smoke Time: 60-65 minutes
Davidoff Year of the Snake is a limited-edition Lancero that launched in mid-November, just in time for the recent Lunar New Year festivities. Its slender 7 x 43 format perfectly represents a snake's body, along with all of the grace and elegance associated with the animal in the Chinese Zodiac.
The cigar makers got creative with this one. For the first time, they used a Dominican hybrid seed 98 tobacco from Martin Garcia and Mexican filler tobacco for only the second time. The end result combines flavors of lemon, coffee, and leather with a creamy texture and plenty of complexity.
Just 4,200 boxes were produced for the US market, a small number for such a highly anticipated special edition.
HVC Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf
Country of Origin: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
Length: 5.50
Ring: 56
Strength: Full
Smoke Time: 60-65 minutes
Reinier Lorenzo founded HVC Cigars in 2011. The company was named in honor of Havana City, Cuba, where Lorenzo learned his trade. By using Nicaraguan tobacco to create top-quality cigars in the traditional Cuban style, one of Lorenzo's best-selling lines is the appropriately named HVC Hot Cake.
A new line, HVC Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf, debuted in the summer of 2024. This Conneticut-Broad-leaf-wrapped variant differs from the original Hot Cake, which has a San Andres Mexican wrapper. The new line was produced with an initial production run of two vitolas and 500 boxes of each.
Two new sizes are now joining the original 5.5 x 54 Toro and 5.5 x 52 Torpedo:
- HVC Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf Gran Torpedo (5.5 x 56)
- HVC Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf Coronas Gigantes (6.88 x 50)
Both vitolas have just been released, with just 350 boxes of each in the first run this time around. This smoke sells like its name may suggest, so make sure you're one of the first to experience the new bigger sticks in 2025.
