Now let’s dive in and check out the cigars we selected for December for Cigars.com Cigar of the Month.

Aganorsa Leaf Rare Leaf Maduro

The first cigar featured in the cigars.com Cigar of the Month pack is the Aganorsa Leaf Rare Leaf Reserve. This premium cigar was cultivated on the famous Aganorsa farm owned by the Fernandez family!

Handcrafted to perfection, this Nicaraguan puro features tobacco from the Jalapa Valley region for the binder and filler portion of this 5.25 x 52 Robusto. The size of the Rare Leaf Reserve in this Cigar of the Month pack is perfect for the cold months that lie ahead for most of us.

While smoking the Aganorsa Leaf Rare Leaf Reserve you’ll detect notes of cinnamon, leather, cocoa, earth and black pepper. A beverage I’d pair alongside the Rare Leaf Reserve is a Dr. Pepper or a cup of hot coffee!

If you enjoyed the Rare Leaf Reserve from Aganorsa Leaf, then try one of its five other sizes that are also available in a Maduro shade wrapper. A box of 15 ranges from $142.99 to $199.99, so the Aganorsa Leaf Rare Leaf Reserve is an affordable cigar for this holiday season.

Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour

We aren’t pulling any punches when it comes to the next cigar appearing in our Cigar of the Month pack. The Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour in the 4 x 38 Petit Panetela would be a perfect stocking stuffer surprise for the cigar lover in your life. Sold as a five-pack for $50.00 on our website may be a bit pricey for a five-pack, but any Davidoff line under their portfolio is worth the investment.

Hailing from the Dominican Republic, the Winston Churchill Late Hour is cloaked in an Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper, while featuring tobaccos from Mexico and Ecuador in the binder and delicious Nicaraguan filler tobacco that was aged in scotch whiskey barrels. With a medium to full-bodied profile, flavor notes you’ll detect in the Winston Churchill The Late Hour by Davidoff are dark chocolate, black pepper, oak, leather, and espresso.

Available in four other sizes that come in packs of 4 and boxes of 20, the Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour is one of Davidoff’s most prestigious lines that belong in your humidor today!

Foundation Aksum Maduro

Our next cigar featured in this month's Cigar of the Month pack is one of the newer, more prestigious lines from Foundation Cigars. The Foundation Aksum Maduro is named after the presumed resting place for the “Ark of the Covenant”. If you’re familiar with any of Nick Melillo’s lines under Foundation cigars, then you’re accustomed to his branding having historical tales or significance to them.

The Robusto Maduro of the Aksum that’s featured in our Cigar of the Month pack is 5 x 50 and originates from Nicaragua. With an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, the Aksum has a delicious Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan tobaccos that make up the filler portion of this medium to full-bodied gem.

Flavor notes you may detect in the Aksum are cedar, pepper, oak, and cocoa. Available in three other sizes than the Robusto Maduro, the Foundation Aksum comes in boxes of 10 and is priced between $130.99 and $162.99 per box. On the more expensive side of a Foundation cigar, the Aksum is truly worth every penny you will invest in by adding this scrumptious cigar to your collection.

Montecristo Epic Vintage 12

Our next cigar in the Cigar of the Month pack is epic in every sense of the word! The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 is another addition to Montecristo’s popular portfolio and stands to be one of the best Montecristo has produced over the last few years.

Crafted at Tabacalera de Garcia in the Dominican Republic, the Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 is a medium to full-bodied cigar that is cloaked in a delicious Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. For the binder, the Montecristo Epic Vintage 23 features rich Nicaraguan tobacco and filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic that was harvested from a crop in 2012.
