Inspired by Montecristo’s legacy of nobility and tradition, the Montecristo M is a true testament to the refinement and craftsmanship the brand is known for. The strong, visual statement Montecristo M makes matches the quality in its complexity throughout the smoking experience.

Desiring to create a cigar that perfectly defines Montecristo M nobility of the time, this new cigar line was produced by AJ Fernandez at his esteemed San Lotano Factory in Nicaragua.

Spotlighting a 20-year-old Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, the Montecristo M has a unique composition and approachable medium-bodied strength. You can attribute that to Nicaraguan fillers and binder tobacco creating a beautiful balance for your palate to enjoy.

The band and the box of the Montecristo M are refined and emit elegance. Expertly crafted, the box Montecristo M is housed in can double as a humidor. So, the cigars stored there will remain properly humidified no matter the time of year. The colors of red, white, and gold featured on the Montecristo M band match perfectly together in flawless fashion –

much like the tobaccos within this delicious new blend from Montecristo.

The cold draw of the Montecristo M offers a touch of sweetness, reminiscent of hay, cedar, and cream. There’s a slight essence of spice on the lips, which seems to promise more complexity once the cigar is lit.

The first few puffs of the Montecristo M match what we were able to detect in the cold draw test. Flavors of toasted bread, light cedar, and a subtle sweetness work together extremely well with each puff. As we made our way closer to the second third, a hint of pepper came into play enhancing the smoking experience.

As we progress into the second third, the Montecristo M begins to reveal more depth. The flavors become more earthy, with notes of roasted nuts joining the mix.

A slight creaminess that’s joined by a tinge of woodiness makes its mark on the taste buds. The cigar smokes cool, with a sharp, even burn line. As further evidence of its excellent construction, the ash remains compact and light gray.

In the final third, the Montecristo M becomes richer, steeped in toasted almonds, hazelnuts, and tones of oak. The slight sweetness that accompanied the first third returns at the end, providing a well-rounded finish to the smoke. There’s a faint, almost honeyed note on the retro-hale that rounds out the profile beautifully, leaving a clean, pleasant aftertaste.

The cigar’s strength remains consistent throughout, with no sudden peaks or valleys in intensity. It is a steady, pleasurable experience from start to finish, delivering a satisfying amount of complexity without ever crossing into the territory of a full-bodied, overpowering cigar.

For those seeking a cigar that combines quality craftsmanship, a balanced flavor profile, and an approachable medium strength, the Montecristo M is a winner. Its impeccable construction, smooth draw, and evolving flavor profile make it a standout in premium cigars and an ideal choice for any occasion.

Whether you’re relaxing with a good drink or celebrating a special moment, the Montecristo M offers a gratifying and memorable experience.
