La Flor Dominicana is one of a handful of premium brands that has changed the face of the Dominican cigar industry. When I started smoking back in the early 80’s, Dominican cigars were mellow—period! Then, in 1995, I tried my first La Flor, and this bold, full body powerhouse kicked the arse’ of just about every Honduran and Nicaraguan stick in my collection. More than just raw power, La Flor Dominican cigars, featured in several blend variations, are perfectly balanced, highly complex, and creamy in texture. Twenty-one years later, La flor Dominicana (in all styles) remains my favorite smoke.
