There is a valley in Honduras that is called San Augustin valley. It has some of the most fertile and dark soils in the world an access to plenty of sunlight and natural spring water. It’s safe to say, it is one of the best areas in the world to grow good hearty tobacco. This zesty and rich Partagas uses a wrapper grown in the San Augustin Valley. They are hand rolled with aged Dominican, Honduran and Mexican long filler tobaccos. The binder is a rich Connecticut Broadleaf. The finishing touch, is an oily, pinkish Honduran Rosado wrapper grown in that rich soil. It has notes of white pepper, earth, leather and a slight sweetness. It has an excellent burn and enticing aroma. The wrapper is nearly flawless and the oils shine bright in the sunlight. If I were you, I would not hesitate to try one of this beauties.
