Romeo y Julieta 1875

Exhibicion No. 3/ 6 × 50

Romeo y Julieta’s 1875 premium handmade cigars are a beloved favorite of aficionados everywhere. These beauties are crafted with aged Brazilian and Dominican long fillers nestled in a delicious Dominican binder, then adorned with a seamless shade-grown TBN java wrapper. Packed with flavor, this super-consistent smoke is definitely one of the most satisfying medium-bodied blends in my humidor. The nuances of hazelnut give a creamy lift to the zesty cedar notes; those who love a smooth and complex flavor profile that doesn’t overwhelm will appreciate the subtle layers of sweetness and spice. Anyone who just loves a great cigar will too.

The first one in the pack would not burn or stay lit. The wrapper would not keep up with the binder. I was worried it was my humidor conditions. I tried another two days later and it was like night and day. The second one burned perfectly and the flavor was terrific until the nub. No transitions, but the flavor is classic. It's a perfect anytime cigar.

I was at a wedding a few weeks ago when a buddy pulled out a few cigars and offered me one. I have wanted to get into cigars for a while now and I finally had an opportunity fall right into my lap. I gladly accepted. I don’t know a ton about cigars, but I know that there are a vast amount of brands, blends, sizes, shapes and strengths to choose from and it can take a lot of trial and error before you figure out what you like and how you enjoy a cigar. I was fortunate enough to really enjoy the first one I tried, which my friend informed me was the Romeo y Julieta 1875. The flavors were not overwhelming and rather pleasant. I just sat there puffing away, and the next day twisted my buddy’s arm until he took me to the store where he got them and I picked up a few of the Exhibicion No. 3, along with a butane torch and guillotine cutter. I love these things! My next investment is a desktop humidor so I can keep a bunch of these babies on hand!!!

7 of the 10 cigars I have gotten have mold and not plume. Triple checked the humidity at 68% and thankfully these are only isolated to these cigars in the cellophane.

This one is, so far, the mildest stick I've smoked. An EXCELLENT choice for beginners. Went well with a cup of chai latte. Hard to pin down a lot of tastes as it was so mild.

Very smooth and consistent. I usually prefer a robust or half corona but these were great if you have time to savor
