The leaves are changing and it's getting colder which means the Fall season has finally arrived! It's a time of sweaters, warmer jackets, football, and seasonal beers that make drinking and smoking indoors a very enjoyable experience. Check out the list of 5  Fall Favorites that we have put together, making these cooler months a warm and cozy cigar and beer-drinking affair.  

Russian River Bling Pig & Kentucky Fire Cured Flying Pig 

A full-bodied, very hoppy brew with citrus, pine, fruity notes, and a nice dry, bitter finish! Russian River Bling Pig is a West Coast-style IPA, true to its style as it is very hoppy and pours a deep brown color with a frothy white head.

For this unique Fall Perfect Pairing, two pigs join forces to a provide truly delicious experience. Made by Drew Estate at their prestigious factory in Nicaragua, Kentucky Fire Cured Flying Pig defies the guidelines of traditional blending with tobaccos never used on a premium cigar before. 

Expertly rolled in a unique short and stubby figurado format, Kentucky Fire Cured Flying features a dark and oily Mexican Andrés wrapper atop Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Notes of hickory, oak, leather, and nutty burley prove that in the world of cigar and beer pairings, two pigs are better than one! 

Magic Hat Brewing Co. #9 & Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edicion Diamante Toro

Magic Hat Brewing Co. #9 is a highly refreshing, not quite pale ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue with subtle notes of fruit and a floral hop bitterness that calls for a top-notch cigar to further enhance its complexity. 

 Answering the call for Magic Hat Brewing Co. #9  is the   Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Edicion Diamante cigar. Blended by famous cigar masters A.J. Fernandez and Rafael Nodal to celebrate Montecristo’s 85th anniversary, these two industry all-stars used a blend composed of a Nicaraguan Jalapa hybrid wrapper, Ometepe Criollo binder, and Nicaraguan Estelí long-fillers. 

By utilizing tobaccos from Nicaragua’s three top growing regions, the result is a smooth, highly complex medium-full bodied smoke, offering luscious flavors of coffee, sweet spice, earth, roasted nuts, and black pepper, before a creamy smooth finish. 

Bell’s Brewing Oberon Ale & Cohiba Royale Grand Royale

Brewed with just wheat malt, hops, water, and the company’s signature house ale yeast, Bell’s Brewing Oberon Ale  has a bright orange color and is citrusy, smooth, and has hints of warm cinnamon that’s a  refreshing choice for a fall cigar pairing. 

With top notes of cinnamon, the full-bodied Cohiba Royale Grand Royale is a perfect choice for Oberon Ale. Additional flavors of leather, spice, dark fruit, and white pepper,  further enhance yet never overpower this must-try Fall pairing.

Sierra Nevada Liquid Hoppiness & Oracle Toro 

Only available from July through September, Sierra Nevada Liquid Hoppiness is a multi-seasonal ale that has a juicy flavorscape teeming with notes of pineapple, citrus, and fresh berries.

Oracle Toro is a value-priced premium cigar that is certain to exceed your expectations. The concept behind the Oracle brand was to deliver a flavorful and complex cigar-smoking experience with superb construction for a very wallet-friendly price. With these high expectations in mind, the company turned to none other than the famed Plasencia family in Estelí Nicaragua. 

To create the 6 x 50 Oracle Toro the Plascencia’s used their extensive collection of premium tobaccos that includes binder and long fillers from Estelí, Ometepe, Jalapa, and Condega, covered by a gorgeous Cuban-seed Habano wrapper. By using tobaccos from the top three growing regions of Nicaragua, you will enjoy a medium-bodied smoke with flavors of coffee, spice, dark fruit,  and leather, all leading to a smoke that pairs wonderfully with Sierra Nevada Liquid Hoppiness. 

Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Imperial Stout & Perdomo Habano Barrel-Aged Maduro Robusto

Great Lakes Brewing Co. Blackout Imperial Stout is a two-time World Beer Cup medal winner, and a beloved limited Fall seasonal release worth rekindling. Black malt and roasted barley cast notes of chocolate, dark fruit, and coffee, while earthy hops provide a pleasantly bitter finish.

Perdomo Habano Barrel-Aged Maduro Robusto cigars feature a core of long filler tobaccos from Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli Nicaragua. Sitting on top is a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper that is naturally aged at least 6 years, and then an additional 14 months in bourbon barrels. 

This well-packed premium will enchant your palate with luscious notes of bittersweet chocolate, pepper, and espresso, all heightened with a gentle smoky vanilla essence gathered from the bourbon barrel fermentation process.
