The theme here is pure elegance and sophistication, featuring leaf from the Mugron River Valley which sits between the Bordeaux region of France and the Spanish border. We were inspired by the richness and refinement that define French craftsmanship and set out to create a cigar that embodies those same qualities.” The blend is a 10-year aged Ecuadorian Habano wrapper coiled around a 10-year aged USA broadleaf. The filler tobacco is a blend of Brazilian Arapiraca aged for seven years, eight-year aged USA Broadleaf and 10-year aged Dominican Piloto binder and the lead from the Murgon River, which was aged for four years. Macanudo recommends pairing this drink with a Pinot Noir, a Cabernet or a Bourbon if a glass of wine isn’t on the menu.
