CAO’s Impact on the Cigar World CAO has occupied the driver’s seat of the boutique market for years, known for pushing boundaries and creating phenomenal cigars with thematic packaging. Under the Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) umbrella, CAO has become one of the industry’s master mechanics. They’ve been the epitome of experimental blending for years, captivating the market with innovative releases using rare or prized tobacco. Often pulling inspiration from niche subcultures, their #1 selling Flathead line specifically tapped into the 1950s Americana obsession with car engines, garages, and pin-up art. With the Speed Shop, they focused on creating a “daily driver”—a cigar you can smoke often while still fitting into the luxury performance category. This latest release gives you the best of their top-selling, high-rated legacy, now tuned down to be more approachable. The Speed Shop Build Sheet The construction of the CAO Flathead Speed Shop starts with a slick Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Beneath the hood sits a Mexican San Andres binder with internal components consisting of top-shelf fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This combination results in a balanced, medium-bodied experience. Expect incredible notes of creamy earthiness, dried wood, nuts, and subtle sweet hay that remain consistent and controlled from stick to stick. Speed Shop Cigar Sizes Handcrafted in Nicaragua at the renowned STG Esteli factory, these cigars are box-pressed to near-perfection. They arrive in boxes of 24 featuring the brand’s iconic engine-block design. You can choose your spec from three different sizes, including the powerhouse classic V660 Carb (6 x 60), the massive V770 Big Block (7 x 70), and the V654 Crankshaft (6.5 x 54), which is an entirely new cigar in the lineup. Shop CAO Flathead Speed Shop Online Climb into the driver’s seat of CAO’s top-selling cigar series. If you haven’t tried the Flathead line, the Speed Shop is your green light. It maintains the muscle-car spirit of the franchise while offering a smoother experience for all discerning palates.
