Featured in just one box-pressed Torpedo shape, this elegant figurado boasts an expertly aged blend of Nicaraguan long filler and binder tobaccos that are bunched inside a top-shelf and dark brown Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Right out of the gate, a tight draw brings out a blast of spice, but like all Torpedo’s, this one opens up quickly allowing the medium-full bodied core notes of chocolate, wood, cocoa, and cedar to follow the bevy of spice. Along with a creamy finish that kept me puffing, the burn remained even right down to the nub, which is evidence of the cigars’ top-notch construction. Overall, I would whole-heartedly recommend this flawlessly constructed and highly complex smoke for an enthusiast to keep in their humidor, however I encourage novices to try them out with a single stick.
