This Nicaraguan puro blend is a jet black buffet of robust flavor. If you’re like me, just that thought alone is mouthwatering. The strongest undertones in the draw were hearty earth and cocoa, and the spices were an even, pleasing garnish throughout. It’s a pretty bold selection, but constructed so masterfully that the draw was smooth and delicate. I had the Gran Retorno Maduro as an after-meal treat, and on my latest smoke break.
