To achieve this "profound" new expression, the brand enlisted a true power duo: industry legends A.J. Fernandez and Rafael Nodal. Together, they set out to explore the deeper, darker potential of the Nicaraguan puro. Said Mariana Hinestrosa, the Brand Manager for Romeo y Julieta in a press release: “The Profundo was developed to offer aficionados a new expression that reflects their evolving taste and growing appreciation for Nicaraguan tobaccos, while preserving the signature smoothness that defines the brand.” Boasting an extra fermented Oscuro wrapper atop some of the finest Nicaraguan leaf around. The cigar features a flavor profile of espresso, dark chocolate, earth, pepper, dried fruit and roasted legumes, which serve as an appetizer for a finishing note of creamy molasses that places the cigar front and center in every humidor it comes across. Whether you prefer the traditional Robusto (5x50), the elegant Churchill (7x50), the balanced Toro (6x54), or the massive Magnum (6x60), there is a vitola to suit your ritual. Available in 25-count boxes (20-count for the Magnum), this is your chance to own a piece of a legendary legacy that’s just getting started. Discover the next chapter in the Romeo y Julieta legacy. It is a must-have for the aficionado who demands depth without the drama. Order your box from Cigars.com today while supplies last.
