Montecristo Crafted by AJ Fernandez cigars are the best Monte’s that I have ever smoked, and considering how much I love this famous brand— that’s saying a heckuva’ lot! With each Oscuro cigar seated in contrasting white sleeves adorned with the brand logo in brilliant red, you get plenty of eye-candy before lighting one up. Once lit, the fun begins as the delicious medium to full body notes of cocoa, espresso, leather, chocolate, and subtle hints of fruit swirl around the palate. These beauties are currently available in five big-ring sizes with the hefty (6 x 58) Gordo being my preferred choice. No doubt, this joint collaboration by two industry giants is destined to become a modern classic of epic proportions.
