Perdomo 30th Anniversary Sungrown Gordo cigars celebrate Nick Perdomo Jr.’s 30 years of making some of the Nicaragua’s best cigars with a blend of vintage, extensively aged tobaccos that won over my palate at the first puff. To make these cigars worthy of the occasion, Perdomo pulled all the stops and developed a blend of extensively aged tobaccos. Not only was the core of Nicaraguan Cuban-seed tobaccos aged 15 years, but the Nicaraguan Sungrown wrapper was also aged for 15 years in bourbon barrels, a process that helped make Perdomo famous. My palate is engulfed in a rich yet decadently smooth medium-full bodied tapestry of oak, pepper, sweet spices, roasted nuts, leather, and slight hints of sweetness to pull it all together.
