Undercrown Shade

A mellower offering than the original, the Undercrown Shade premium handmade cigar comes with a stunning golden-brown Ecuador Connecticut shade wrapper that looks gorgeous paired with its regal gold-and-white band. Inside, a Sumatra binder and aged filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua combine to bring me a most pleasurable medium-bodied smoke. Once lit, a perfect burn and a captivating aroma were precursors to very complex, creamy-smooth flavors of nuts, baked bread, and cocoa, with subtle hints of warm spice and honey slightly lingering in the background. Undercrown Shade has quickly become one of my favorite midday smokes.
