Undercrown

Initially released in 2014 to celebrate the online community Cigar Dojo, Undercrown Dojo Dogma cigars are my favorite iteration of the famous Undercrown blend. Unlike any other Undercrown vitola, these treats are box pressed and fashioned as a stocky 6x56 vitola. Building on the Undercrown blend of a top-shelf San Andres Mexican wrapper cloaking a stalk-cut Connecticut Habano binder and aged Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan Habano long fillers, with higher primings used in the fillers to provide an extra kick of power. I get a rich and complex medium-full bodied smoke loaded with bold notes of dark chocolate, leather, coffee, black pepper, nuts, and dashes of a black cherry sweetness that are flawlessly delivered thanks to their top-notch construction.
