New World Decenio

by AJ Fernandez

The AJ Fernandez story beings in the tobacco fields of Cuba, where generations of his family cultivated the knowledge that would eventually revolutionize Nicaraguan cigar production. The young blender absorbed these ancestral secrets before destiny called him to establish new roots in Esteli’s volcanic soil. In Nicaragua, surrounded by mountain air and rich volcanic earth, AJ would build his tobacco empire from the ground up. While San Lotano was the first cigar AJ made under his own name, New World is special to him because he made it with his father. When AJ and his father Ismael first conceived New World in the company’s formative years, they poured their collective wisdom into creating something incredible. The branded cigar line emerged as their manifesto. It was a bold statement of AJ’s unique blending philosophy wrapped in premium luxury. New World quickly became one of the prime beating hearts of AJ Fernandez’s operations, earning critical acclaim and further establishing the reputation that has made his brand a legend in the cigar world. Since its 2014 launch, New World has remained one of AJ’s bestselling series. In many ways it also proves that his authentic craftsmanship resonates with many cigar enthusiasts. The latest New World Decenio release stands as a gleaming monument to that decade of achievement, embodying everything that made the line legendary while pointing toward an exciting future. The New World Decenio showcases AJ’s masterful approach to cigar composition. A dark-brown Mexican wrapper envelops this commemorative cigar. Beneath this beautiful exterior, a robust Nicaraguan binder that provides a solid foundation for this cigar. The core long-fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras create the perfect harmony. When you fire up this anniversary blend, prepare for a symphony of flavors. Dark cocoa richness coats the palate with decadent sweetness before black pepper arrives to add exciting heat and spice. Espresso bean notes and coffee undertones provide a roasted depth. Mesquite smoke weaves through every draw giving even more character to its artisanal construction. An exotic tangy undercurrent runs beneath these primary flavors that add layers of complexity you can’t even put into words. No cigar from AJ is complete without his signature spice making an appearance. If there was ever a cigar you needed to try, it would be this medium-to-full-bodied masterpiece. The New World Decenio by AJ Fernandez comes in three carefully crafted vitolas, each designed to highlight different aspects of the cigar.
