The AJ Fernandez Dias de Gloria Robusto cigar is a premium blend that was made to emulate those great Cuban smokes from the pre-Castro era. The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro that uses deeply aged tobaccos from four of AJ’s farms in Nicaragua. Boasting top-notch construction and a great burn, this beauty was brimming with medium to full bodied notes of sweet cedar, earth, wood, coffee bean, and spices. I’m not old enough to have smoked a genuine pre-embargo Cuban, but if they tasted this great, I really missed out on some great cigars, and, I’m so glad that I found these gems from AJ to take their place!
