La Flor Dominicana

La Flor Dominicana Double Claro is only Candela (green) wrapped premium cigar in the entire LFD brand portfolio. Being older than dirt, I remember when Candela cigars were all the rage throughout the 50’s. 60’s and 70’s, so when I found these cigars available at my local shop, I was anxious to buy a box and take a nostalgic smoking journey. Much tamer than every other LFD blend on the market today, a core of aged Dominican fillers delivers rich notes of cedar, leather, and spice, backed by sweetness and some floral tones from the rare Candela wrapper. Candela or (Double Claro wrappers as LFD calls it), have lost favor with many modern-day smokers, but if you are looking for unique added sweetness to any blend, then these top-shelf cigars are definitely worth a try.
