With full-bodied premium cigars being all the rage for the last few years, I am always eager to find a good mellow smoke; for quite some time, I felt like we were a forgotten segment of the market. Luckily, for me and about a zillion other longtime stogie enthusiasts, many of the top cigar manufacturers have once again joined the creamy-smooth bandwagon. One such very tasty treat is the Kristoff Connecticut, a gorgeous cigar with a golden-brown Ecuadorian shade-grown wrapper covering a Nicaraguan Habano binder and Dominican Habano long-filler tobaccos. The Connecticut has a soft, spicy core heightened with rich and flavorful notes of vanilla, cocoa, toast, and cream. This exquisite blend proves that a cigar doesn’t have to be strong to be good.
